Ridgeway Capital is its Principals. We each have substantial experience in mid-market and SME investments, both in development capital and in the special situation and turnaround areas, with an enviable track-record of successful results.
The Ridgeway principals are involved in all phases of Ridgeway’s investments, from deal origination, negotiation and structuring, through to post-investment support and eventual exit.

Ari Stavropoulos
Partner
Ari is a co-Founder of Ridgeway Capital and has many years’ experience in the investment and corporate finance arena. Ari is involved in all aspects of the review, structuring and negotiation of investments, then post-deal is active in the support of management through to realisation of an investment.
Prior to Ridgeway, Ari was a Director of an ‘active investor’ private equity firm, focusing on development capital, buy-outs and turnaround opportunities in the SME and mid-market, where he was instrumental in building a successful track record of investments. Having started originally as a corporate finance lawyer within Clifford Chance’s private equity department, Ari was also a Director for several years of a corporate finance boutique, focusing on business sales and fund raisings/buy-outs for SME businesses.
Michael Loizou
Partner
A co-Founder of Ridgeway Capital, Michael is commercial and practical and has significant expertise in operational aspects of businesses, especially the finance function, supporting cash management, process/profit improvements and risk management.
Michael is a qualified accountant and has held a non-appointment Insolvency licence. Before founding Ridgeway Capital, Michael was an Investment Director with an ‘active investor’ private equity firm, where he had particular responsibility for its turnaround and distressed investment opportunities. Previously, Michael has worked at Grant Thornton, BDO and KPMG in mid-market and multi-bank restructuring teams, including a secondment at Barclays Bank.
